I attempted to be compensated for a 33lb bag of the Timberwolf Organic Ocean Blue today from the store I purchased it from. They are equally as frustrated as I am and have not been reimbursed by their distrubtor nor has the distributor been reimbursed, to date, for any of the returned products by Timberwolf Organics. This isn't our fault and Timberwolf Organics should stand behind their products and reimburse those affected by the recall! This is ridiculous!

Thank you for the information. I was wondering about "Promeris" I have been using "advantig" cause it is suspose to be effective for mosquitos also. My seven year old "Border Collie" has never had a flea, but two weeks ago, I noticed he had a "hot spot". I took him to the vet. and he had been bitten by a "tic" and it got infected. $180 later, 10 days of antibodics, lots of baby powder, he is doing better thank god, but we are now limiting our outdoor time, which is hard for my dog and I.

I called my vets office and was recommended Promeris. I applied this product on Sat 7/5 and my dog did not respond good to this product also. He's been droopy, short of breath, vomiting and diareha everywhere. I will never use it again.

Charlie, as long as it's just grass and not something poisonous included, I haven't heard of there being any harm. My two eat grass all the time, especially my girl, Jezzie. They don't regurgitate it either and there's never been a problem.

I know that some dogs do seem to prefer certain grasses over others, not sure whether it's a beneficial thing or not but since it's not going to hurt them, just let them munch and enjoy! :)

I've heard that "johnson grass" is "good" for my dog's digestive tract & that's why they love to eat it...normally they DO NOT regurgitate after eating it, however after eating other type grasses, they do....We have two Boxers (male & female) and love these babies with all our hearts; are we doing any harm by allowing them to continue to eat "johnson grass"...

This was a useful page, my cat has hair missing from around just outside his lip area. I'm likely going to have to go to the vet.

I would add that vets are notorious for using so called veterinary diets. Hills Science, Iams, and Eukanuba "Prescribed" diets are full of by products which include dead, diseased dying or disabled animals as well as those animals euthanized at shelters, road kill, etc.
There are many alternatives for example, for cats with Urinary tract/stone formation, Wellness is a wonderful healthy alternative and is LESS expensive than the Hills Science diet.
Remember, veterinary medicine is big business too.
